What time is check in and check out?
Check is from 2pm and check out is 12 noon.
What time is the Reef Bar & Grill open from?

Our Reef Bar & Grill is open all day for Breakfast, Snacks, Lunch and Dinner.

Can I get food and drink by the pool?
Our Pool Drink & Lunch Menu is available from 11.00 until 15.00 for food and 18.00 for drinks. You can order by the pool, in the Bar & Grill or on your apartment terrace.
Are there fridges in the rooms?
The apartment has a fully equipped kitchen. For your easy reference, we have provided a manual with detailed instructions for operating kitchen equipment.
Its there WiFi in the Resort?

Can I have an extra bed in my room?
We can try and accommodate an extra roll out beds in rooms for small kids for only an extra 25 euro per night.
How can I pay for my room?
Payment in advance is required for certain room rates. Read the detailed rate information. The amount paid will be deducted from the final bill. If you cancel the room after the cancellation deadline, the hotel is entitled to retain the booking fee/advance payment. In general, the hotel bill must be paid on receipt, usually on arrival at the hotel. All our hotels accept the most common credit/debit cards. However, the hotel is not obliged to accept credit/debit cards, cheques, vouchers or foreign currency unless the hotel has volunteered to do so.
STORAGE OF VALUABLES AND LUGGAGE AND VALUABLES IN THE ROOM OR IN THE LUGGAGE STORAGE
Your valuables can usually be stored in the hotel’s safety deposit boxes. The hotel can store your luggage in a locked luggage storage. Do not leave valuables or luggage unattended in the lobby upon checking in or checking out, at breakfast or when you are waiting for a taxi. Due to security reasons, the hotel is not obliged to store property of high value or property that could endanger the safety of hotel staff or guests. The hotel has no strict responsibility for property that you keep in your hotel room or in the luggage storage.
Does the resort have parking facilities?
There is a public car park next to the hotel and it’s free of charge.
Is a laundry service available at all of your hotels?
Laundry requests can be arranged, each room has a laundry bag, you can fill it up and have all your clothes washed and ready to take home with you for 10 euro.
Are safety deposit boxes available at all of your hotels?
There is safe in each of the rooms for guest use.
Is smoking permitted in any of your hotels?
Smoking (including electronic cigarettes) is not permitted in the apartments (but is allowed on your terrace) or public areas of any of our hotels. Smoking is only permitted in the designated smoking areas. A charge may be made where smoking has caused damage.
My flight arrives early in the morning; will it be possible to check in early?
Please be advised our standard check-in time is any time after 14:00. To guarantee an early check-in, it is necessary to book the previous night. If rooms are available prior to check-in time, an early check-in may be possible. You are welcome to leave your luggage free of charge in our luggage store prior to your check-in.
How far is the beach?
The Blue Explorers Resort in Puerto de Mogán, Gran Canaria is a 10 min walk to the picturesque fishing village of Mogan. Turn left out of the resort and head down the walkway directly to find the beach front shops, cafes, and restaurants and the village harbour with its picturesque, brightly coloured, traditional Canarian architecture and pretty canals and bridges.
Can I go diving?
Our experienced and multi-lingual dive team is based in the resort and have been welcoming visitors to the life-rich waters of the Atlantic all year round for more than a decade.
Diving with Blue Explorers’ experienced and friendly team is like entering a whole new world, an underwater world where you will meet and mingle with hundreds of local species of Canarian marine animal and plant life. There are natural reefs and caves and fascinating wrecks dating from antiquity to more modern times to explore in our fully guided excursions. Can I do a dive course while I am staying at the resort?
Yes we offer a wide range of courses from beginner to Tec diving, please ask any of the resort staff when you arrive or email us and we can send you a list of the courses we offer info@blueexplorersresort.com
Why don’t you use plastic in the resort?
We’ve banned plastic straws, cups and bags in our resorts and dive centres. That’s it. Simple. However, we respectfully ask that our guest do not bring products that contain plastic micro-beads, keep the use of plastic bags in their packing and to a minimum and always tie any bags in several tight knots before disposing of them. Should soft drinks or beers be bought in packs we ask that the plastic holders be cut or torn into pieces. We use Eco-Friendly cleaning products and will refill your washing up liquid, please don’t throw away the bottle. Our toiletries are Ocean Friendly, if your bottle is running low, please just ask a member of staff to top it up for you.
Can I cancel me reservation?
Cancellation rules vary depending on the rate at which you made your booking, please read the detailed rate information carefully. Unless otherwise agreed at the time of booking or the rate you have chosen has different rules, cancellations can be made up until 6 pm local time of the hotel on the day of arrival. If you fail to arrive without cancelling in advance or if you cancel after 6 pm, you will be charged for one night. If the hotel has incurred costs specifically related to your booking, you must also reimburse these.
What is my hotel option is not available?
If the hotel cannot give you a room as agreed, you are entitled, at no extra cost, to an equivalent or better room in the hotel or at a hotel of an equivalent standard. Specify your requirements at the time of booking to be sure that the hotel is properly prepared. The majority of rooms at all our hotels are non-smoking. If you want to smoke in your hotel room, please ask for a room for a smoker at the time of booking. If a guest breaches the smoking ban, the hotel is entitled to charge the guest for ensuing costs. If you wish to bring a pet with you, please make this clear at the time of booking.
Does the resort allow pets?
We love all animals, ones that live in the sea and on land, but unfortunately our 4 legged friends can’t stay at the resort due to local laws.
Are all of the rooms in your hotels en-suite?
All of our rooms are en-suite with a shower no baths.
Are disabled rooms available at all of your hotels?
We don’t have disabled rooms are available, but our ground floor apartments can fit a wheelchair.
Is breakfast included in the price of my room?
Depending on the rate you booked, if it’s not included, The Reef Bar and Grill serves breakfast from 7am to 10.30 am each day.
My flight leaves late in the day; will it be possible to check out late?
Should you wish to retain your room after 12:00, please arrange with reception. All rooms subject to availability. The following charges may apply: 50% of the price of the room before 18:00, the full price of the room after 18:00.
